I'm going to chop open my juwel lights to see whats occuring inside. If by some miracle I get them working again would I be able to use any only silicone that's lying around to seal them up?
I seem to have every kind of silicone hidden away other than any aquarium friendly ones. Does 'aquarium friendly' only matter below the water surface though?
Obviously I would be leaving it to dry out away from the tank to let the fumes pass, but it should be ok afterwards right?
