well i bought 2 packs of hikari mysis shrimp cubes and tried to feed them to my 5 bettas from kelly. well they all kinda stared blankly at them and they are rather large. should they be crushed? i plahn on using them for conditioning. looking for expierenced peoples advice. thaanks :D

uh oh....you're gonna hate me but....flatpacks! LOL! Seriously, the flatpack of mysis are easier to crush. As for making them take it.... :dunno: Mine just do, I don't have to talk them into it :p

The Mysis shrimp I got are in cubes (Hikari). As for size, I don't see them being too big for my guys but many of them aren't too interested in eating them, Lol. Some will, but others completely leave them alone after trying one and spitting it out. So I can't say Mysis are a hit in my house. But I'll keep trying them. If nothing else the female growout tank will eat them...with the competition, they eat ANYTHING I put in the tank including HBH Betta Bites, haha.

hmm maybe the mgs from wuv are still to small for them? ill try crushing them up and mixing in some other food

Just chop them up some...I chop them up and use a toothpick to feed them to my bettas.
