Hey guys,
just want your opinion.
Im starting to run out of space for Bettas and was pouring my cereal into the bowl when i saw the label said it held 5 Litres(Approx 1 gallon).
So would it be wise to use these? Cheap and easy to find. The only thing im worried about is the hight of the container which might be abit too much for a betta with long fins, so ill try and only house my short fin ones and females in them.
Opinions?
Here is what im talking about:

I have the same cereal container as you! :hyper: :p

That's actually a really interesting idea... I guess it would be okay for a plakat or female but it would be rather hard to clean. The lid is really useful though, you could use the little hatch thingo to feed and just pop the rest of the lid off for water changes.

Thats exactly what i was thinking  :)
I wouldn't imagine it would be that hard to clean, since i wouldn't be using a substrate and would have just a small ball of java moss or a fake plant to hide between

Oh okay... I quite like this idea! And the little alcove thingy on the side could be like a little heater/filter compartment if you use one.

I might use just a power head but i dont think it will be needed.
And i hope to have a fish room up and running soon and will have a room heater around the tanks which will bring up the temp of the containers to what ever the room temp is

Sounds cool. We have a basement sort of thing that we never use, so I asked mum if I could convert it to a fishroom. She said, 'No way! We spend so much money on fish, they're staying out in the open where we can all see them!' :S
