Would it do any harm adding a powerhead/wavemaker to my tank as i get dead spots and debris build up..

I've seen a single, double and rotating wavemaker on ebay for quite cheap..

the tank is 4ft with a fluval 305 and a mix of small fish.

Would it be better to have all going one way just aiming different heights or have one at the back and one on the right aiming down( filter outlet is on the right side of the tank and the inlet is on the left)

I see no reason as to why you can't do it.

It really depends on the type of fish you have.

If you have large flat fish that can be easily pushed around by water current, then I would not really suggest another powerhead.

If your fish are okay, than I would go ahead and add another power head.

I've got very streamline fish in the tank so should be ok.

Thanks :good:
