My two golfish have developed bright red streaks across their backs! they look like ulcers and now they are just hanging in the water almost vertically. They are still feeding though but my other few goldfish have no such symptoms.
They are living in my pond, its roughly about 20m diameter.

Any advise greatly appreciated!

how are the fish now?

sounds like a bacterial infection and with the warmer weather maybe these fishes immune systems are still too weak to fight anything off...frogs in the pond can bring in unwanted bacteria at this time of year as well.

how many fish in the pond and is there adequate filtration? you still have to do water changes on a pond but not as often as tanks...maybe twice a year at half the levels. Do you test the water for ammonia and nitrites? As for the fish, can you net them and transfer to a large 50 gallon vat for treatment? usually just clean oxygen rich water helps in the majority of cases.
