this is the kinda thing that only happens to me...
sold all my stock etc yesterday
had a hard time locating and catching the blenny ( my fave fish) so in the end i found him in a box inside a lump of rock.. put the rock back in the tank and then watched * carefully* as i transferred it back into another bucket ( complete with him)

have just come into the dining room and guess whos in the bloody tank

theres hardley any water in the tank and it has to be freezing

the guy came from coventry to collect everything, so i dont spose hes gonna come all the way back for 1 fish

i have a 28 litre/or a 65l tank that i can empty ( shrimp) fill with water and heat slowley.. going to take a while tho, i have some live rock in the sump that i can put in the tank for him too

then i spose i`ll have to get hold of the guy and offer to meet him at least half way.. as it is really my fault

Awww Shelagh... Guess he likes you LOL.

Can't really help but maybe you could offer a partial refund to the guy who bought the rest of the stock? Then sell this guy elsewhere?

well thats the reason i hope he stayed

not worried about refunding him as he had a bargain anyway, just worried about the fish .. hes soo cute

i have a feeling i know exactly where this is going to lead.. another setup just for him

( has been known  )

anyway.. while i remember id better go and have a read about those gorgeous oscars of yours.. hope theyve both settled in well xxxx

Aw Shelagh, he was pretty determined, perhaps contact the guy to let him know and leave the ball in his court? or keep the cutie if you have the sources!

Its amazing how fish can hide. I remember when I had a fresh water tank, I had one of those butterfly pleco's, only about an inch long but very pretty. I couldn't find it anywhere. Pulled the tank apart. Took out all the ornaments until only sand remained in the base of the tank. The fish was NOT there. Put everything back in, cursing that it had jumped out or something.

Two hours later I came back into my room only to see the little sod stuck to the front glass, right in the middle of the tank lol.
