Urau

Some Urau's have just turned up at my local fish shop.

Anyone know anything about them?

I have a peaceful tank at the moment and don't want any bites or bullying.

i don't have any exp w/these fish but,this is a start,i'll try and find some more.

Uaru are certainly peaceful cichlids. They can grow to about 12ins though and if you want to keep them you will need a large aquarium with compatible tankmates. Mac.

Size is definitely a problem as i already have a few "growers" in the tank.

Think I'll hold off at the moment. Pity though, first time i've seen them for sale around this neck of the woods.
