Upside Down Zebra Snail

[Novice betta owner!]

Hi I have a zebra snail in my 5l betta tank and for the past two days it wont stay upright!

its trapdoor is shut and it doesn't smell it seemed to occur after a water change, I have separated it from my betta in a small plastic pot (with treated water) put it upright and it has started to using its antenna.

Any advice? - my Betta is missing his friend!
