Upside Down Catfish

I have 2 upside down catfish in my 10g tank and one has now got a large belly. None of the other fish have got it. It did go away for a while but it has come back again. Can u help?!

Could it be carrying eggs? or does it look grossly huge and looking ill?

hmm, i kinda find ironic how you sound like ur worried but have laughing and stuff emoticons anyway down to business, im not cat fish person neva owned one, but it sounds blatenty obviouse its either pregnant or just plain FAT, lmao!!!!

Thanks for replys, he has been sulking under the filter and hasn't come up for food. I was look in a book and it said that he either had a bacteria problem or he was CONSTAPATED . Can this help?

If constipation is the issue try to feed it some vegetable matter. An algae wafer or boiled peas with the outer shell removed. This usually helps with constipation. HTH
