Hey everyone,

I have been given a new 80 litre indoor tank and I recently bought some fish for it (Including the upside down catfish).

I've had it since the 7th august and ever since I put in the in tank it has not moved from underneath a rock, it is stil living, but it will not move when food comes out or anything. Am I missing something or are they generally very shy fish? Are there other fish that doesn't go well with them that I should know about?

I don't know what to do with him.

sounds just like many USD cats. if you have floating plants you may well see it feeding then. this, in nature, is how they feed. but if its still alive an healthy, my guess is its out and about when you aint there. i do recognise your description, mine was the same 18 months ago. it is still fine and healthy now.

I hav 2 and when thay were small u never saw them. Than thay started growing I see them all the time now. Good luck

mine hide all day but when the light is out they imediatly cum out and are very active :good:

I have two in my tank. They are nutty as fruit cakes. Constantly racing each other around the perimeter of the tank - even at feeding time. Wooshing past the Doras at 100mph and making them scatter :D
