Upgrading

Am glad I found this site. When the builders have moved out I plan to get a new home for my pair of Silver dollars and their friends, 2 golden barbs, a dozen guppies (2 fry) and 6 little silvery devils (2 years old and forgot their name). I think I will opt for a new vision 180, it fits nicely between a couple of doors and from the pc will be able to watch tv and the fish

I plan to get another pair of fishes (app 4in) and a couple of small shoals. Am sure I will need loads of help so - watch this space.

Any help would be greatly appreciated re community fish to get. Apparently the dollars like plants so will probs go artificial - comments ?

Hi there, im sure you will get loads of advice when the time comes can i just say though if you can get a tank from the rio range you get a bigger tank for you money

Thanks, a Rio was my first choice. The best place IMHO is between 2 doors about 4'8" space. A 3' tank fits much better than 4' or above so am treating myself - its a peace of furniture too.

Am sure in time I'll turn my living room into a fish room am keeping my little hexagonal tank (app 24"w 18"h) either for breeding or a single shoal (or both lol)

If youre looking for some cool community fish look no further than buying 3 or 4 Clown Loach. I have six in my tank and amoungst the other community fish I have two fairly large Silver Dollars which get on fine with the loach and other fish. Hope this has been of some help.
