I currently have a 60 litre tank in which I keep a variety of Orandas and Moors. I have just purchased a 155 litre tank and was wondering after the obvious breaking in period of the new tank etc is their a safe way of transfering the fish to the new tank (to new water).

Sorry, didnt notice this post :*)

When transferring to a bigger tank its best to place the old filter in the tank with the new filter and have the old gravel added close to the new filter so the bacteria will quickly colonise the new media.
Use the water from the old tank as well and fill the rest with temperature matched dechlorinated water.
Add the fish and keep an eye on the ammonia and nitrites as the tank will have a mini cycle.
Hope that helped.
