Hiya
I recently took the plunge and upgraded my tank from a 35litre trial to a Jewel Rekord 60 ! Thank you to those of you who advised me on how to transfer the occupants and what to do with the filter media etc.
Anyway, the new tank has been running for 6 days, Ammonia is 0, nitrite had a small peak but was still under 0.1 and is now barely readable . Can't test nitrate until tomorrow as my test kit has run out. The original tank was running from October last year and the water and filter media from this was added to th enew tank which I think is 54litres.
As I am new to the hobby, I was now wondering how long I should leave it until I can safely add some more fish. I currently have danios and mountain minnows. I would dearly love to have guppies and perhaps some neon tetras.
all advice greaty received as always
