Update on platy

i posted a few days ago regarding a platty that i thought was too big. Had thought it was a female but as it turns out... its a male. The anal fin is pointed..

no babies then!...in my tank the males are always fatter than the girls!

on a brighter note.... We have two blue platys and lucy just noticed that one has
a gravid spot!!!
Does anybody know how long it takes from thew time of appearance of the gravid spot till you get little baby platys appearing?

Usually about a month, but it depends on the age and size of the fish. Around a month though.
