Feeding coral after lights out... spotted a couple large nudibranches on the zoas. I've been fighting these things for weeks now, despite still having some, about 95% are gone. Generally these guys are only about 2mm long, these monsters were about twice that size. So I thought I'd take some pictures and share.

One on the left managed to flip himself upside down.

These things glow brilliantly under blue lighting, which is nice because it makes them easy to spot. At first the ones I had glowed neon green, more recently they've been glowing neon orange. Not sure if they are separate species or if it is a genetic difference in the same species. These ones last night were the orange variety. Was difficult to photograph and doesn't nearly show how much they really glow, but you can see some of the orange on the one on top.

Here's hoping none of you ever have to deal with these monsters.

If these are anything like freshwater pest snails then I feel for you. I'm fighting off Malaysian trumpet snails ATM. I don't normally venture to this side of the forum, as I only keep freshwater, but I just thought I'd comment on the reef tank in your sig; It's amazing! Probably the best I've ever seen. :good:

Nice looking things but they are monsters! Hopefully they will all be gone for you soon!

I also agree your tank os very nice!

You still dipping your zoo's nemo? Your using coralrevive arnt you?
I've heard of people having success with flatworms exit.

Thanks Guys :good:

Sorgan, at the moment I'm only manually removing them as they are mainly showing up on corals I cannot remove. I thought about flatworm exit, I have experience with using it at work and it does work miracles, but I think that this point I have them down to the point where they aren't really causing any damage. I'm also pretty sure the wrasses are eating them too. Unless I get a huge outbreak, I think I'll just continue to manually remove.

Fair enough nemo, luckily for me my two wrasses take care of most pests. Sadly they strip sps aswell lol
