unxplained Cory death

Hi I woke up this morning to fins in horror that one of my Shwart corys had died....or had been killed? The body had a bite out of it but I do not know wether or not that was the cause of death or after the death as I found one of my shrimps feeding on the body. I do not know what could of killed it as water parameters are fine as tested today. Could a golden pleco kill the cory?? Thanks for your help

i would say it's the shrimps...it killed 10 neons..of mine..but people on this forum once had a HUGE arguments about how peaceful shrimps are..psh..
