my tank is 4ft h15 inch w12inch, i have 5, a small fantail, a 2 inch shubumkin, a 2 inch canary yellow, 1 inch goldfish and my sick one 2inch comet style. filter are fluval4+ and fluval2+. no other have it that i can see! not added any fish for 4 weeks or more
I thought it was white spot. Will i put him in another tank with a treatment? Should i do a 50% water change on the tank?
You should treat the whole tank if it is whitespot, since it can take a few weeks after being infected by the parasite for external symptoms to show, so other fish in the tank could have the whitespot already so treating the whole tank is the best plan of action .
