Hi i there i have a 75 gallon with an adult oscar female in it. water parameters are 0 ammonia, o nitrite and 10 nitrate come water change time which is 66% every 11 days.i change my filter pads and clean filter every 2.5 months. i have a marineland 36o canister filter which i recently cleaned the intake and outtake tubes for first time in 2.5 years. ... my problem in lieu is shortly thereafter the tube cleaning these leech? like entity appeared by the dozens , scattered throughout the aquarium glass,( see the attached picture) , theyre round-ish and "snail" across the glass and sand...how do i get rid of them safe for the fish and what are they?

also note that the leeches? or whatever they are had to appear for an outside/foregin source. i bought driftwood and a banana plant about 3.5 months prior to noticing the leech outbreak

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

I can't tell anything from the pictures.
Can you try to post some that clearly show the creepy crawly things?
Can you post a short 60 second video of them creepy crawly moving about?

As a general rule, leeches aren't normally a problem to big fish but might try to latch onto them. You will see that if it happens. You can kill leeches with salt but we need to know exactly what they are before doing anything.

hi again, there is debris floating in the middle of thank and sitting on the sand... every other speck you see on the aquarium glass is the parasites in question.
