Hi ,new to this forum etc, tried long time ago with fish, unsuccessful, but now at home all the time started up several months ago.
Have a trigon 350 community tank, and a smaller 180 lts trigon full of baby gorami fry about 2 weeks old could not believe my luck.
Feeding on new hatch brine shrimp, liqifry no 1 and just started to feed with very fine powder tetra min, hope thats ok.
Had a couple of ANGEL lay eggs on a sword plant in the community tank, they were very busy fighting of the other inmates so I attempted to move them and the plant to a smaller tank, but this stressed them out i guess as the eggs had gone by the morning o well busy with the gorami any how. read rules

I have moved your post to the appropriate section of the forum; I can change the thread title, if you wish.

Welcome to TFF.

:hi:
That's how it starts...I was an accidental breeder. Bred, grew out and sold about 350 fish last year and will do about the same this year! Not getting rich, but pays for food and incidentals.

It takes Angel's a few broods before they get parenting down and some never do so eggs may need to be removed to prevent them from being eaten. Also, it's nearly impossible for the eggs to survive in a community tank as there's too much stress and the parents may even eat the eggs to protect them as strange as that sounds.

Since you just started up a few months age you might find value in the Newer Hobbyist's Primer and/or the Beginners Guide to Fishkeeping as well as many other good articles.

Now you have time, but you might want to think about planning ahead. Will you keep all those fry or will you look to give away or sell some or all. :)

Hi thanks for the Info, not sure about the fry, alone in a 180 ltr tank well planted.
early days and they seem to be in no hurry to grow up, not like most children LOL.
I have downloaded some info ,did this for my community tank to make sure their all compatible.
They all look healthy and get on most of the time.
I purchased 6 young KOI Angel on line and have grown fast and paired up sort off, they do have disagreement's now and then.
Their joined with 2 pearl Gorami( beautiful pair, 3 danio zebra, 2 opaline gorami mum & dad, 3 male guppy and 2 small cory bronze cat fish) the tank was second hand and well planted i had it only with plants for about a month before any fish, I use mostly rain water with some treated now and then. Like I said I did try to remove the Angels with eggs to a small tank but they was stressed out, so I have a plan for next time, I have a partition screen to segregate them ready as the tank is very big and hopefully they will try in the same corner again with the sword plants 🤞🤞🙏 thanks for reply.

If the angels breed again move the eggs and put them in with the Gourami fry. Just take the leaf that the eggs are on and put an air stone running across the eggs. When the Angels hatch, they will be fine being raised with the Gourami young.
