Unknown worms??

Hi everyone, so I’ve had a 20 gallon aquarium set up for about 2 months and I just added a piece of wood and I noticed that there’s a bunch of these worm like things all over my rock and the wood. If anyone can help identify it I would appreciate it.

25% water change bi weekly

Likely, that is too little. I do and also recommend that others who ask me should do, is 50%-60% weekly. This is for fresh water tanks.

I have only been in the hobby 22+ years. So far I have not yet heard or read that a fish died because its water was too clean. (Note, I did not say too pure.)
