they are Java Sparrows (Padda oryzivora)

Yep its a java sparrow.

Did you keep javas colin, if so what were they like to keep as i am considering getting some to put outside in an large flight near my cockatiels.

nope never kept Java Sparrows. We aren't allowed to import them into the country.
The only reason I know about them is because when I kept birbs, the only books available were written in the US or UK. Everytime I opened a bird book I could get information about all these lovely birds, but I just couldn't get the birds.

iv keep javas before '1234-fishy-freind' there really nice birds i had them in a mixed avairy with other finches
