I'm pretty new to fishkeeping and to this type of forum but I have, amongst a collectiomn of livebearers, two bristnose and I made the mistake of adding too much rainwater to my tank, making the water very acidic. It did little for the good of the mollies but it spured the BN's into life and now I have (as far as I can see) nearly 30 fry, of which about 6 are albinos. So something good came of my mistake and I am really pleased to see these little guys grow. They seem to have been hatched in three waves as the first ones are now about 3 cms long but others, only now coming out for the first time, are still very tiny, Is that usual? :/

Sounds like more than 1 batch of fry !!! ;)

You'll find that once a paird has started to breed you will get a new batch every 4-6 weeks !!!! :D

Congratulations !!! ;)

Lucky you waterheater! Congrats.

You need to decide whther you're gonna let them fend for themselves now or try to keep them alive. Not sure what other fish you have in the tank...?

Would love to see some pics btw!
:D
