Unbalanced Tiger

one of my new tiger shrimps seems to be unable to balance - he lies on his side or on his back if he can't get a grip on anything with his legs. he can swim, but can't keep upright when he does - i think i should be worried. what's happening?

he arrived yesterday (ebay) along with 10 others, one of which was dead in the bag, however, all the other tiger shrimps are fine. i did a water change earlier, but i used loads of de-chlorinator, and as i said, all the others seem fine.

no luck. he is now a very dead, half-eaten-by-amano-shrimp tiger shrimp

Once they loose their balance like that it is normally too late.

It sounds like some kind of poisoning, but as they are new its hard to say what, possibly ammonia from being in the bag combined with a slightly weaker shrimp.

If the others are all ok I wouldn't worry, if they are showing signs of being affected the only thing you can really do is give them clean water.
