If a puffer puffs in air is there anything you can do to help them expel it? This hasn't happened I am just curious...

it's happened to one of mine, once. Turned it over, and it expelled the air by gently stroking the stomach backwards towards the mouth.

Another time a puffer of mine inflated and I plopped him back in the tank, he did it himself immediately with ease.

i've seen i dwarf puffer puff i turn around towards the tank and i think i scared it a bit, but then again i did nearly walk into the tank

My Salivator doesnt really puff, but totally changes his body shape into a sorta triangle with his keal all bright red :D

My baby Dwarf puffers puffed up a couple of times before. I didn't notice anything different. Everything was calm and they deflated very quickly (too quick for me to take any pics). I think the younger ones do it for practice. It must be quite a stressful action because they look like they have hiccups afterwards for a short while (maybe 10-15 seconds or so).

How do you catch a "puffed" puffer without hurting it??

gently and slowly, i believe when gsps puff out they have little tiny spines so wear gloves i think f8s do the same just little tiny spines
