UL approved fish equipment

I am a total newbie to this stuff. I haven't even bought a tank yet. My question is whether all tropical fish equipment in the US is UL approved. I am planning to buy stuff from the internet and the LFS. Sometimes they don't say on the internet whether it is UL approved. I just don't want my house burning down.

As handsomeboy has indicated, if it is masde in the USA it will not burn your house down.
