UK Glass panel suppliers

I've been wanting to build a 200g fish tank, but have not found a good, reliable, and especially cheap, glass supplier to make my dream come true. Can anyone, in the forum, know of a trusted, and cheap, supplier?

since your 'relitively' local - you might want to try the company we use for all out window and door glass (and possible a 36tx8x8 tank i'm thinking about for breeding)

The name is glass midland - normally quite good on price.

Unless your going to build a strange "L" shaped tank or something why bother? I know of two places at least where the likes of a 6'x2'x2' tank can be bought for around £200.

Your being an individule not in the trade and not buying in bulk, I imagine your glass would cost that much easily.

Its all about economies of scale, as an individual it has proven to be very expensive, but I can imagine companies buying in larger quantities as to get a reduction in the total cost.

Do you happen to have one of these 6.2.2 tanks? Could you find out for me if the glass has been hardened, and the thickness of the glass panels?

Its 10mm toughened glass, I dont think that means plate glass.... not for £200... or does it? hhm will have to ask, I'm ordering mine this saturday.
