The hippo tang (regal tang?) looks like he's got some bumps or something under his skin, but parts also look like it's just something like white spots on him. I've done 3 water changes in the past week cuz my lion died for some reason and I'd seen the tang flashing. I haven't checked the paramaters ( 
) ) but my inverts and corals are doing fine. I'm wondering if something got in the water. But anyway, the tang could be stressed, the day after the lion died i thought the tang wuz dead, he wuz just sittin' on the bottom not moving. I went to move him with the scraper to a more accessable spot so i could take him out and he dodged it. I kept an eye on him for a bit and he finally started hovering about an inch or 2 off the sandbed. That night i turned off the lights and he went to his normal hiding spot behind the powerheads. He finally started coming out and swimming a bit after a couple of days, but then i started seeing the flashing.
Could this be because my clowns and/or niger are harrassing him? None of this seemed to happen till after it looked like my 2 GSM's boxed him in between 2 pieces of LR. In all reality he could have just swam straight up, but he kept turnin' around and one clown would be blocking his path, then turn around again and the other clown wuz over there blocking him too. I imagined him turning around like "Aww, come on guys, just let me go...Can't we all just get along?".
K, now after he finally started coming out from behind the powerheads again i saw the niger chase him off a couple of times. Should I turn up the heater to make sure the ick won't spread (what temp? don't wanna cook my corals or shrimp or fish for that matter), and can i/should I dump a little of the liquid garlic ish i sometimes soak food in, directly into the tank?
