uh oh

I've had this male betta for almost a full year now. He's always been active and healthy looking.. those were the good ol days. Lately he's been real lazy, just sits on the bottom of the tank. He still eats, but hardly anything. His body is turning weird colors. Sometimes it's brown and sometimes it's white. His fins also seem to be shrinking shorter and shorter each day. What's going on with this fish?! Is it close to flushing time

Also, I have recently done a water change and put in some stress coat

dont ever flush a live fish! (im not sue if thats what you meant but i had to make sure). he could just be getting old. keep him really warm and add some salt if youre worried

I wasn't going to flush him while he was living There's always a possiblity he could get better, which I hope he does. He isn't that old tho.. is there a chance the petstore could have gottom him at a later age then they get most bettas?
