Had my Nano running around two months now and absolutely love it! However, I've fallen in love with another type of tank and been given permission to go ahead and build it should I choose to
I want a braceless shallow tank, currently thinking of 28"x28"x15" which equates to around 193l. I want to use a weir and twin standpipe feeding a sump in a home made (brother is a joiner) cabinet.
I've got some questions however......
I want to use a metal halide lamp so that eventually I could keep SPS. What sort of size/wattage would I need for coverage?
I plan to add a Vortech MP10 onto my current tank soon (as the upgrade is months away) - will this plus the sump return be enough flow? At full chat I estimate the vortech alone provides 31x turnover.
Can anyone recommend a tank builder in the South East?
