Hi. Someone gave my brother a 20 gallon aqaurium with a UG filter that uses a power head instead of an air pump. the prob is that he can't seem to get air bubbles down the air intake tube thingy and into the tank.
Any tips?

unless I am misunderstanding your question, you shouldnt need to worry about any bubbles...

The powerhead should be installed to suck water down thru the substrate, up the tube, and out the powerhead output. As far as I knw you shouldnt even have bubbles...

with the arline/pump setup its the bubles rising up the tube that draws water down thru the substrate and up the tube...

yep thats how they work.
the suck the water up from the ugf and filter it back out
what part did you want the air to come out of??

i have a ugf and powerheads in both my tanks i havent had any problems with them.

if you want bubbles just buy another pump and attached an airstone :dunno:
:D
