HEY EVERYONE! how are ya? well im not good , becuz the thing is i bought the master kit to do de fishless cycle ... and i was going to do it today (bought it yesterday) becuz i wanted to wait till ill i do it with the plants, wich i was going to buy today to start cycling my fishtank and i went out to go shoppin and wheni came back my fishtank was with 4 guppies 2 are pregnat and 2 green i dont know what more corydoras ! wich the bigger one is like freaked out!!!!! she/he cant stop swimmin like the devil fish would be after him/her :S:S while the lil one is really cool...chillin with the gravel :p

my dad tried to give me a surprise and put the fishes before i started with the cyclicng !! what should i do????? keep the fishes in the tank? go where mah dad bought them and ask for some already cycled water and keep them in there? im shocked and my internet wasnt workin till an hour ago :angry: damn internet conections.....

if anyone can help me im here to listen and obey

I'm having a little trouble understanding. Do you just have the four guppies or are there other fish like corys too. If you were going to try the fishless cycle, just explain to your dad that the idea of a surprize was way cool but you were going to try the fishless cycle and so you would like to return the fish to the lfs. Call the shop first and make sure that they will take them back or "lend them out" to a friend that already has an established tank to hold till you're done with your cycle.

and about the misunderstanding..... i have 4 guppies wich 2 of'em are pregnat and 2 corydoras the bigger one he or she is actin a way that its gettin on my nerves that thing wont stop swimmin all over the tank like the devil is after it!!!! while the lil one its chillin at the bottom with the gravel

OOOH THANX GOOD :D i test my water and my results are the followings

HIGH RANGE pH: 7.4
NITRITE : O.PPM
NITRATE : 5.0
AMMONIA :0.25

KEEP THE FISH!!!! They will be fine in there. You have to watch out for bacterial infections in the guppies tho, but you shouldn't have a problem. KEEP EM!!!!!

make sure you keep an eye on the levels, as they are going to change alot in the next few days!!

so your probably going to have to do alot of water changes pretty soon
