thanx

if you have any mela fix treat with this or if not that treat with stress coat if you use it, read the instructions on the back for treating from illness, it's somehting like double the dose.

do u no what i could be that has made he go all sticky??

ive already used some medicine with him

thanx

it's a sign of him sheeding his slim coat which can be caused by stress.

what have you treated with?

if you can't get the water tested somehow soon then do a water change ASAP anyways of 30%

yea ive dont a gd water change on the tank 2day he seemed to lm down after i did that

is it bad if he sheds the slime coat??

thanx

doing the water change should of helped.

shedding there slimecoat is a bad sign as it shows there weren't happy with something in the water.

what did you treat with?

i treated him with mela fix

he seems a lil better not very active at the mo though

He started shedding his slime coat and acting unwell after you did a water change?

Are you SURE you used water conditioner in the new water and was the bucket or hosepipe clean?

Shedding the slime is a classic sign of chlorine in the water.

no he was acting wierd ages before i did a water change it has nothink to do with that

i did the water change after for 1 because i jsut thought it might help also Paul_MTS said it will help if i do

the reason he is doin this has nothink to do with chlorine in the water and i no that for a fact

but i just dont no wat it is he is doin it for though hes never dont this before in all the time ive had him

If you cant buy all the test kits at once, most reasonable lfs stores will test your water for free or charge a few quid. Id recomend taking a sample to them if u cant buy a full spectrum test kit.
