Types Of Rams

can someone make me a list of the different kinds of rams. or some good websites.
i know of two so far german blue and german gold. and any little bits about them would be nice thanks alot

German blue and german gold, gold, balloon, or any long fin variation of those are all the same basic fish - microgeophagus ramirezi. The other ram is microgeophagus altispinosa - Bolivian Ram, ruby clown cichlid, etc (fish in my avatar).

Fishkeeping requirements for both are the same. The ramirezi is smaller and is more likely to be a more delicate/sensitive fish. For a lot of good information, you can google either latin name or check the fish profiles at the top of the forums, or do a search here on these forums.
