Sometimes I will see this little starfish climbing the glass or on my LR. It's only about 3 millimeters long. I guess it hitchhiked on my LR. It isn't a brittle star or a serpent star or any type like that. It's like the real species of starfish, with 5 legs but looks a whole ton smaller. It's light tan and white. I'm interested in what species it could be and how big it will grow?
I guess that explains all the little empty mussel shells on my LS...lol
I would get a pic..next time I see it though.

At a guess, I'd say an asterina starfish. Very common on LR. I have several in my tank. Here's a shot of one I took the other week. Does it look like that?

I also have probably hundreds of these guys, although mine don't look so hairy
Perhaps I need a macro lens to see their hairy legs...

Looks kinda like yours but not orange and hairy, but I researched and it looks like a fiji asterina. I guess I should remove them if they start bothering my corals?

Nearly all of them are reef safe... Very few species which are not so you shouldn't have much problems with them. I also found that, once I noticed one... I noticed many more... I don't think physically removing them would have much success :hyper:

 my first time seeing an asterina without a dark green back. all mine have dark green backs and alot of ppl say those ones arent reef safe. never seen them munch on any of my polyps since  . (knock on wood)
