I know..... I know.... another new bettas thread!!
Thing is you guys understand the excitement of new fish and especially new Bettas!!!
I now have Peter Pan and Puck to go with Titania, Oberon and Tinkerbell!! I'm sorry for the pictures but I SO need a digital camera. I will try again in the morning when the light is better but couldn't resist posting these now as I am SO in love with these little boys!
Firstly Peter Pan.... he absolutely stunning... turqouise, green, pink, blue and a little bit of red. Very irridescent and a lovely little boy!!

   He has a shipwreck in his tank and once he was acclimatised he went straight inside it looking for captain hook...then he saw tinkerbell in a neighbouring tank!!!
Next .... little puck. I saw this guy yesterday and have been thinking about him ever since!!! Couldn't resist getting this MARBLE boy!! Red, pink, purple, blue sort of colours. He has a very elongated dorsal fin which is stunning with white-ish stripes. He is a real softy and not flaring at anything really.

The pictures are terrible I know but as I said I need a digi!!

The other thing is I fell in love with a mature male blue with red bits who flared amazingly when I showed him a mirror. He's reserved for me and should be getting him by the end of the week as well...... I need another fairy name!!! Was thinking Drake which is a fairy name but alsomeans dragon?!?!!? He has slight crowning to his tail as well so when combined with Tinkerbell may produce crowned babies although I know it's recessive!

Awww, they look so tiny and cute

lol no worrys im in the same boat with teh camera problem :D

i like your new fishy, i used to have a cool male who looked similar to him, brings back memorys, he looks happy

Well....... I am so proud of my boys today. I had an emergency with a split tank last night and Puck had to be put into an 8 litre tank...... I wasn't impressed with this as I normally have them in 15-20 litres min however, he took it all in his stride and immediately started playing under the bridge tha twas in there!
Meanwhile my other new boy Peter Pan is in a tank next to Oberon and the two have been 'talking to' one another with only the occasional flare...... I have to say Oberon didn't properely flare showing off the gill flap things (still can't think of the name for those!!) but now.... with Peter Pan as a sparing partner they are both showing off from time to time but not getting stressed by one another.... most of the time they are really content playing next to one another. It's so cute.
Peter Pan and Puck's colours have really come up overnight. I can now see all the different shades of green, turquoise and blue in Peter Pan, I 've also noticed that he's got red bits through his caudal fin and some of his other fins..... he is a real stunner and I'll try again with the photos later on. Puck is looking really good today as well..... his colours are AMAZING!!! I so want to show him off to you all so will try when he's in his big tank that I'm getting in a few hours. I've cleared a whole new space for the Betta tanks too......yay!! More room!!!!!!!!
