Two Different Types Of Shrimp

I have been looking at an online place that sells Red Nose Shrimp, Bee Shrimp, Orange Sunkist Shrimp, and Snowball Shrimp.

I really like the idea of the Red Nose Shrimp, so would they be compatible with any of the others?

ETA: there wouldn't be one of one type, and one of the other. i was thinking 4 of one and about 3 of the other

Fairly sure the Orange Sunkist Shrimp and snowballs would cross (though it depends what the orange ones are, theres a few different shrimp which get similar names), but the bee shrimp and red nose would be fine with neocaridina.

Generally though I wouldn't recommend it because:

1. Red nose shrimp tend to be rather agressive at feeding times and will out compete any other shrimp for food.

2. (the main problem.) Bee shrimp and neocaridina require different water parameters. Bee shrimp prefer lowish ph water with fairly warm temperatures and neocaridina need high ph to molt and prefer lower temperatures.

Is there any way to overcome agression whilst feeding? Like, supplying enough food?

What are the implications if they did cross-breed? (not that i would like them to)

if you keep shrimps mix in with other shrimp, there is a high chance of them cross breed. I once had cherry shrimps and Amano shrimps together in a single tank. the baby turn out kinda cool in mix.

hope this help

If two different species of shrimp that were closely related (not like brother-sister lol) cross-bred and produced offspring, would the offspring be sterile, like most other cross-bred animals in the world?

Would there be any problems with them cross breeding, apart from random mutations and possible sterility?
