im about to split my tank in two using a peice of perspex
to put 2 siemese fighters in

but i heard a romour that if you put to seiimese toghether seperated
like that it sends them mad

also does anyone know of ant other problems this may cause

If you seperate the tank use a dark coloured peice so they can't see one another.

You can use a clear divider. All you have to do is put some tall plants in front of each side of the divider leaving only a small space for them to flare. Just make sure it is tall enough so they can't jump over and kill one another and make sure it fits tight so they can't squeeze through and kill each other. :)

I know it may not work for everyone, but my fighters are separated by only a clear glass sheet. They can easily see there neighbours, and i've never had problems with excessive flaring (very little flaring at all i fact).

I do have some tall growing plants in the tank, and the isde with the heater in it has more places to hide as well.

All seems to be going fine (and has been now for a few months.
