Hello everyone!
This tutorial will help you to prepare boiled mushed peas. This can be useful for when your fish has constipation or can be used as an addition to a herbivore/ omnivore diet. My cardinals, danios and barbs love it! @Frank228 and @Rocky998 this might be useful since I have talked about it in your threads recently.
If you use this recipe as medical food in order to cure constipation, I recommend it because it has saved many of my fishes' lives. Boiled mushed peas are soft and will be easy to digest for the fish. Almost like puree!
Instructions:
1. In a ceramic cup or small plate, pour some water (this does not have to be from the tank) and add as much peas as you think is necessary.
2.Heat in a microwave(i did it for 30 seconds) Beware, peas can explode. As soon as the water starts boiling, stop the microwave and take the cup/plate out.
3. Drain so the peas are left.
4. Squish the peas to remove the thin skin and throw away.
5. Cut the soft insides of the peas into smaller pieces.
6. Feed!
7. Wash your hands and any equipment you used.
