125l = 33gallons. The general rule is 10g per inch of turtle. There's no commonly available turtles that get to an adult size of 3 inches. So it's possible, but not a good idea, you won't be able to keep the water clean.
If you're looking for a small type of turtle, I would suggest the common musk turtle, they stay small and need about 55g.

connorsbala - by "yellow belly ones", do you mean this? They get up to 11 inches. PLEASE don't give suggestions unless you know what you're talking about.
OR if you're just joking around, make it more obvious.

No i dint mean that one! Theres a type at my LFS where i work that has ones that get too 5 inches...yellow something but not sliders! They get massive and everyone knows that especially the red eared sliders lol!
 
Another important thing to know is that Male turtles generally stay smaller than females.
