Hi,
Does anyone know the smallst freshwater turtle you can keep and what size tank you would need.
Thanks

The smallest I can think of right now is The Mississippi Mud Turtle. Adults range from 3 to 4 1/2". They are not great swimmers and like shallow water. They require larger land areas and are frequent baskers and a good basking UVB light are required. A 20L aquaria is adequate for one individual.
