I saw two of them doing it ( :shifty: ) earlier.

Has anyone ever had a successful batch of young in a nano?

These snails often spawn in aquariums, especially after a water change. Unfortunately the planktonic stage is usually destroyed by filter systems. The appearance of babies crawling in your aquarium is rare. Aquariums with very gentle water flow and undergravel filters have shown the best results. Large miniature reef systems also have been observed to successfully propagate these snails.

Wet Web Media is another great place for information.

Yeah my ceriths lay eggs all the time. Never seen any survivors though :(

I've seen young Nerites (I think they were Nerites anyway) in there before, but none have made it adult size.

lol. Quite cool to see what??

snails having sex. >_>

Hey, I'm not a pervert (at least not where snails are concerned :shifty: ) but it's cool to see them behaving as they would in the reef, in my small little aquarium.

Ditto on the Nerite spawning and baby snails...lack of food is also a problem for those guys. The babies I had would only eat fresh microalgaes and they depleted the available supply of that in the tank in about a week after I stopped them. I had two batches, but none made it pas pinhead size.
