Fish Addict

My blue acara has a big lump, about the size of a pea at the base of his tail, just before the fin starts. I don't really know what I can do about it exactly, just wondering if anyone's fish ever had anything like this, did the fish get better or is it likely to kill him with time? I suppose it's been there a few weeks now. The fish isn't acting sick.
Wondering if it's some kind of tumour? Any thoughts?
