trying to build a hood

im trying to build a hood for my tank so if you have done this or know how pls take a look at my other post my design of a hood

Heya,
we havent built a hood for our larger tank yet, but we are planning too, weve had a look at some wood, and its not that expensive, we had a look at B&Q and couldve easily bought enough for like !£15, maybe a bit extra, and that would be for a 48" tank as well.
the plan looks good be interested to see when you have finished yours for some tips

also did you see the pic i did thats what i want as i have 4 ft tank with only room for 1 light so new lid needed and i think what i drew would be the most simple i could do
its then just a frame with lid that ill cut to make doors and then an extra box ontop for lights

thanks to who said about B&Q ill go up there soon as i can for some wood ad report back soon how much it cost and what i bought i allready have 2 tins of varnish expensive stuff
