Trying to breed purple mystery snails, where can I put them?

I’m going to get some purple mystery snails in a few hours. I have a white and yellow one that breed in my 20 gallon. Can I put them in my 5 to not let them cross breed? I would be getting about 3-5 and the tank has a betta.
