i have had a male bristlenose (bubbles) for almost 4 years now and he is 8.5cms long.

i was given 3 smaller bristlenoses just over 4 weeks ago 2 of them i am sure are male the other female, but there does not seem to be any interest in the female by any of the males, :( how can i get them interested, is it normal to take this amount of time.

i am new at this breeding thing so any advise would be great, it is a community tank and they have caves and holes and hollowed out logs.

i would love bubbles to have some offspring.

cheers

Are the smaller ones at breeding age yet? Might be a reasoning for it. Also im not an expert on plecs but there might be a lot of fighting with only one female and all those males. russell will be a long to help you out soon enough im sure!
