Hey all.

C. Pulcher has appeared on the wholesale lists. they would cost me roughly $75 each, so try convince me that I should buy them. I really do like this sort of cory with the extended dorsal, that's why I purchased the C49, which turned out to be C. Nattereri.

Like I said, try convince me :p

PS. I have ordered 5 Gossei and 10 Cochui :D

Hope the cochui don't turn out to be hasbrosus.

they should arrive on saturday.

Cheers,
Michael

I have some pulcher variants. They are very handsome. On the other hand they are similar to the Schwartzi. I am not familiar with Aussie $ tho. You seem to have some good contacts. Gossei, too! great! I can't convince you to spend the $, not knowing the rate of exchange. Does that include the shipping? I do like my gussied up schwartzi-like Corys tho. I wouldn't part with them. I have had the Pulcher variants for over 2 years, and I got the so called Super Schwartzi last summer.

But if that is what they cost, and you have the bucks, then by all means you should have them! They are a lovely fish. To me they look like dressed up fancy Dans with ruffled collars.

Yeah Basically since I'm working at a large fish store now, I have access to the supplier lists and can order fish for my own collection.

Unfortunately the Rarer cories just aren't really suitable for sale. Not a huge interest of people wanting to buy expensive cories :p

Although I have found a friend, who has bred C142's,polystictus and Gold Shoulders. Without even trying!!!
something in the water o.o

I have fattened up my orange lasers though. Another week of frozen bloodworms and live blackworms and then I'll try induce a spawn, with cold, acidic water :)

Also last night. My Cat almost electrocuted my cory tank with the orange lasers and nattereri.

Lucky we have an RCD!

bloody stupid cat, it knows it's not allowed on top of the tank. I just have to look at it as he's walking towards it and he'll stop and turn back, was watching a movie tho and he must of stood on top of light, cracked coverglass and my light was floating in the tank.

ALL HAIL THE RCD!!!

Hi Kuhni :)

I was about to say that if you like the fish and have the money in your pocket, you should go right ahead and get some. There's nothing quite as nice as having a fish hardly anyone else has. Don't pass up the opportunity to get them.

But then I continued down and read about your cat! What's an RCD? Whatever it is, I'm glad you have one too!

We were just talking about cats on fish tanks on this thread in the Pets section:

Perhaps you would like to add a post about this. :D

I think I may have to pass on the Pulcher, my recent cory purchases have delayed the funding of my 6x2x2 reef tank long enough :p

I really want to get it set up, a new direction in my fishkeeping!

Kuhni the Cory/Reef Keeper!

What Rift are you going for? (Off subject in the wrong forum  nevertheless I would like to know.)

I have a 125 Tanganyikan Rift tank. It has fairly uncommon fish. I am proud of it and like to show it off, but I wouldn't trade my Corys for it and sometimes dream of making it a Cory tank!

I am with Inchy, if you like them and can afford them gor for it, but we all must plan our dollars and room for tanks, etc.

I am very near my limit without some major overhall and trading off.

It's nice you can enjoy your hobby 24/7. :fun:

Nah Jollysue, not rift.. reef!

Saltwater tank :p

definitely going to put in a Majestic Angel and a bicolour goatfish and some tangs.
Might get a group of Remy's banana wrasse :D

Will be mainly fish oriented with some nice easy to keep soft corals.

I've come too far jollysue :p

Anywayz I really want to keep saltwater.

Majestic Angels!

I mean it's one thing australia has a great selection of :) Queensland more so than Western Australia, but western australia still has a great load of diversity.
I'm getting a fish room :)
Will most likely be setup with my 6x2x2 marine, a 3x2x2 or 2x2x2 High End Coral Setup, 3-5 Cory Tanks and maybe a Seahorse tank or a FW tankbuster tank.
Not sure if I can fit two large setups though, might be restricted to only the 6x2x2 marine. :/

It's a nice plan. Send a link when you get set it up.

Just going to swim out a catch the rascals, huh?
