I wnat to get some trumpet snail to keep my substrate turned.
I like zebra loach and want to know if they can go in the same tank of if the loach will eat the snails.
I read in another post that trumpet snails are virtually indistructable.
Will they be ok together.

Any nswers will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

the trumpet snails will make a good snack for your Zebra loach, or any other botia you may add.
If you want to keep the sand turned and have loaches then consider Khulie loaches, as they do the same job as MTS.

"Khulie" or "coolie".
Thanks for the advice.
Are there any other fish that burrow on the sand?
Thanks

yes horsehead loaches and some species of sand loaches.
IMHO none better than the khulie and the silver khuile
Pangio muraeniformis is the best at that too.

Also MTS have incredibly hard shells and can break loaches teeth. They don't serve as feeder snails very well for that reason.
