Tropical To Marine

afternoon all............im thinking of setting up a marine tank now just need abit of advise. im going to but another tank a bigger one than i already have i have a tropical tank but is it possible to use this tank as a marine tank ? as the tank has had fertz added to it does it contaminate the tank in any way?

ferts shouldnt. Copper does!, read the back of the stuff you have added. The tank will want cleaning out before anyway.

can i just use warm soapy water to clean tank

when Ive cleaned my tank I always use clorox and water, Ive always heard using detergent of any kind will leave a film unless you rinse it really well, when ya clean it out have the water tested to see if there is any copper still present ...

i've used soap before and dried it out with a cloth, never really had a problem also heard vinegar is best.

Vinegar is good to clean a tank with. Just rinde it properly after
