Just after some advice as I'm still only really thinking about doing this.
How easy is it to change from a tropical tank to coldwater? I've got a 220L tank, with a Tetra EX700 filter and 300W heater which has been established for 5-6 years now. My current stock is:
4 x 2" Leopard Danio
6 x 1" Serpae Tetra
1 x 2" Snowball Pleco
4 x 1" Red Ocellated Barbs
2 x 2" Clown Loach
1 x 3" Snakeskin Gourami
1 x 2" Gold Gourami
After seeing some beautiful coldwater fish that have some really nice colouring I fancy a change, but just how 'easy' is it to do?
Are they a LOT more messy than tropical? Are there specific requirements for coldwater?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
