Tropical Tank

Hi
I want to change from tropical fish tank to a marine fish with the tank i have can anyone tell me how hard this is please.

i already have a fluval 205 filter can you tell if i could still use this or would i need to have some think completely different.

and would it be cheaper to buy new tank with all the stuff or i would be able to set up my tank just as cheap.
